How does this work?
Makematic+ offers over 1200 original education videos that can be licensed for use in educational products and services.
You can explore the entire library through pre-made Collections and Categories or search for what you need by clicking the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner.
To start organising your selections into Wish Lists, you'll need to create a free account with just your work email.
To license content your organisation will need to sign a Master License agreement. Please get in touch via email to licensing@makematic.com and we'll send you a copy for review alongside our rate card.
Once that agreement is in place, you'll be able to add content to your account at any time. Once you checkout, videos are immediately available to download via your Account section. You can re-download them at any time.
What type of license do you provide?
As standard, we license for use in online educational platforms, world-wide and for either 5 years or an Extended License for 10yrs+.

How does your pricing work?
We offer both pre-paid credit system and 'on account' options depending on the volume of video you need.

What content do you have?
We have more than 1200 short videos available to license with a big focus on Humanities for K-12.
All of our content is purpose made for education - often developed in partnership with world-leading organisations like the New-York Historical Society, American Battlefield Trust, iCivics and Crayola.
We add dozens of new titles every month, so come back regularly to see our latest content.

Do I need a license to use your videos?
All of our content is copyrighted and requires a license to be used for editorial or commercial purposes. Unauthorised use of our content can lead to copyright infringement.
Do you produce bespoke content?
Yes, our team are available for both client services and co-production work. Please visit www.makematic.com/production for more details
What's included when I license a video?
You'll receive the rights to stream or otherwise provide access to the video on a platform owned and operated by you for a period of 5yrs (or 10yrs+ if you opt for an extended license)
The license covers use in online educational products and services. Broadcast licenses may be available on request.
You will receive the MP4 or ProRes version of the video along with subtitle files (SRT and/orVTT) and transcripts.

I'm an educator, can I use your content in my classroom?
You'll find our videos on all of your favourite platforms including Learn360, ClickView, Newsela, BoClips and more. If you use any of these platforms, you can use them to stream our videos in your classroom.
At the moment we don't offer any services direct to teachers or schools.
I can't find what I'm looking for. Can you help?
